| I was inspired to make these earrings recently when I saw one of our drop dead gorgeous Kansas sunsets. Now this may seem like an oxymoron to those of you not familiar with Kansas, but I guarantee we have some beautiful sunsets here in the heartland! The beautiful blues, purples, oranges and pinks combine to create a piece of artwork in the sky, and I have attempted to capture those colors in these dangle earrings. These earrings were made using Swarovski bicone crystals in Light Sapphire (light blue), Alexandrite (light purple/violet), Rose (pink), Sun (orange), and crystal (clear). The crystals have been beaded on a Sterling Silver headpin and attached to a Sterling Silver earwire. I used a Sterling Silver spacer bead at the bottom of the dangle. The dangles measure 1 1/2" long, not including the earwire. |
