Long Lariat Necklace Belt Glass Beads
Aquamarine
Julia Hutchins Designs
This is a very versatile lariat style necklace that I designed
using some gorgeous vintage glass seed beads in a soft,
mint green. These are not your run of the mill round seed
beads!  These little beauties are cut glass, probably
Czech.  They really catch the light and sparkle!

To accent these beads, I have used some genuine
Aquamarine beads and vintage glass & glass seed beads
in a rainbow of colors. The focal bead is a gorgeous
vintage Venetian art glass bead in green, with pink roses
and blue, gold, yellow & white accents.

There are four strands in this necklace, with the longest
measuring just over 34 inches long. I used multi strand
nylon coated wire for strength and durability. You can wear
this in a multitude of styles. You can wrap it a few times
around your neck for a choker length, or leave it long and
"flapper" like, with the focal bead either high or low in the
front. You can also wrap it once around your neck, with the
focal bead close to your neck and the long ends dangling
down to your waist.

You can wrap two strands around one side of your neck,
two strands around the other, and bring the ends through
the loop by the focal bead, again, placing the focal bead
high or low in the front. You can also let the ends hang
down your back - the perfect piece for dress with a low
back. This piece could also be wrapped around your waist
as a belt. The possibilities are endless, and whichever
way you wear it you will be sure to garner attention!
